St. Jude's Mission Group
Our group, established in the early 1970's, meets on a monthly basis to gather in faith and friendship. Our ministry includes sewing stoles for the babies to be baptized in our parish, making altar bread once a month, stuffing mailings for the parish staff and serving funerals in the parish. Our funds raised help to buy needed items for the parish, such as candles. Please join us! We would love to have you as a part of our mission here at St. Mary's Parish Family! St. Mary's Altar Society
We meet every third Sunday of the month at 10:05in the North Multipurpose space. We begin our meetings with prayer for the living and deceased members of the Altar Society. Prayer is followed by discussion on events that are coming up and evaluation of events that have just past.
We do a number of fundraiser throughout the year. These funds are used to buy materials for the church. We have bought Sacrementary books, Altar clothes, vestments, and candles just to name a few. Our major fundraiser each year is the Fall Dinner! We usually have a big sit-down family style meal complete with homemade pies!
